HJDECK Shines at the 27th Shanghai International Boat Show - HJDECK

The 27th China (Shanghai) International Boat Show (CIBS 2025), held from March 30 to April 2, 2025, at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, reaffirmed its status as Asia’s premier maritime industry event. Aligning with the theme “Green Navigation, Intelligent Transformation,” the exhibition attracted over 600 global brands and 40,000 visitors, showcasing cutting-edge advancements in yacht manufacturing, marine technology, and sustainable practices.

As a self-owned factory specializing in EVA foam marine flooring, HJDECK seized this platform to deepen international collaborations and highlight the transformative potential of EVA materials in modern shipbuilding.

HJDECK’s Participation & Strategic Collaborations

Global Partnership Expansion

HJDECK has established initial partnerships with customers from Russia, South Korea, Japan and Vietnam, targeting market segments such as Arctic expedition ships, solar yachts and tropical leisure boats. For example, a Vietnamese ecotourism company prioritized our antibacterial EVA flooring for Mekong River cruises. In addition, our eva mats are certified for shrinkage resistance.

Aligning with CIBS 2025's sustainable development goals

The show focused on green technology and digital transformation, reflecting HJDECK's commitment to environmentally friendly innovation. Our bio-based EVA foam, which reduces carbon emissions by 28% compared to traditional petroleum-based alternatives, was exhibited in the Green Tech Zone and attracted attention from industry leaders such as CATL and Yamaha.

EVA Foam Flooring: Core Advantages for Marine Applications

Durability

Our flooring is tested at 70°C for 70 hours and is suitable for luxury yachts at the equator.

Environmental Safety

PE/EVA foam boat flooring has passed REACH-EU restricted substances, TSCA-US environmental toxic substances and California Act 65. Effectively prevent marine pollution.

Customization & Efficiency

Hjdeck has 50+ color combinations, allowing customers to customize a variety of exclusive colors to match the boat.

Fast production

HJDECK has multiple automated production lines, 6 CNC numerical control equipment and laser equipment to minimize project duration.

Spotlight on CIBS 2025 Industry Trends

Green Ship Technologies

The rise of LNG-fueled ships and hydrogen-powered yachts became a focus of discussion, with CATL and Yamaha launching all-electric propulsion systems respectively. HJDECK's lightweight EVA floor (density: 0.12-180 g/cm3) follows these trends, reducing ship weight and reducing fuel consumption.

Global Market Integration

The "matchmaking" facilitates cooperation between international buyers (such as Italian and German delegations) and Asian manufacturers. HJDECK's cooperation with Vietnam Yacht is a good example of cross-border innovation in the tropical marine environment.

Conclusion

CIBS 2025 highlights the shipping industry’s shift towards sustainability and intelligence.

As a self-owned factory with 12 years of professional experience, HJDECK has always been at the forefront of EVA innovation, making ships a symbol of environmentally friendly luxury. We combine "green genes" with industrial pragmatism to empower global customers to sail on the seas for a cleaner and smarter future.
